A wretched hive of scum and villainy

I have just realised while reading Darths and Droids that one of my characters is an attractive but somewhat naive senator, who gets into difficulties on a desert planet while politics at home are coming to a boil and people with strange tech-meets-magic powers are fighting it out in the background.

If this keeps up, the Gentileschi will create a clone army, Quint will die giving birth to Force-sensitive twins, Kallisty will turn to the Dark Side (what am I talking about, if Kallisty met the Dark Side she’d kick it in the nuts and steal its dinner money) and the next generation will spend their time losing limbs, getting crushes on their relatives and exchanging witty banter with cast members who communicate solely in growls or beeps. Which… sounds like something I would write, all things considered. I can at least promise there won’t be any pod racing.
