Well done! Do you have a date in mind for publication?
Thank you! It depends on how long it takes the proof copy to show up and what changes need making to it, and also on whether I decide to bring them both out at once or publish Mask and then finish the final fiddling-around with War. I’m not sure which would be better – they really are two halves of a book, so it seems a bit bad to leave people hanging.
Er, so the short answer is ‘probably some time in September’. Which seems appropriate – it might be having spent so long at the mercy of the academic year, but autumn always feels to me like a time for new beginnings. 🙂

It is! And now I’ve realised that it went to press with the wrong version of the acknowledgments page, but if that’s the worst that happens I will be very content.
