Bah, Smart Bitches falls foul of the university’s web filter so I’ve never got to read it. I should get around to having a nosy on the other laptop at some point but I only use it once it a blue moon.
It was! and particularly as an antidote to the Dear Author comments breaking out into ‘I can’t imagine how anyone could not like the same kind of heroines as meeeeeee’. Ninety percent of the Dear Author commenters come over as smart, sorted people who I’d like to sit down and have coffee with even if I didn’t agree with them, but dear God that last ten percent.
